MANILA, Philippines – If you’re one of those looking forward to the Friends (as well as the casts of other shows) reunion that will be aired on February 21 (February 22 in Manila), here’s something to tide you over – a sneak peek of the segment was released on NBC’s Facebook page. The Friends reunion, which is actually a tribute to sitcom director James Burrows, will bring together 5 of the 6 cast members: Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer.  (LOOK: ‘Friends’ meets the ‘Big Bang Theory’ in this epic photo)

In the sneak peek, Matt addressed Matthew Perry’s absence, saying, “We’re not all together, there’s one missing. We wish he was here. Matty, we miss you.”

Matthew couldn’t make it to the reunion because of rehearsals for the play The End of Longing.

The two-and-a-half minute clip also has the cast sharing their memories of Jim, who directed 15 episodes of Friends.

“We would do anything for Jim Burrows because he really gave us the opportunity of a lifetime and probably the best 10 years of our acting careers,” said Jennifer.

Matt also recalled that when they were first filming for the series, Jim would play the piano for them, while Lisa shared that Jim gave them his bigger dressing room so they could play poker there.

The pre-taped tribute to Jim was to celebrate his body of work – he has directed 1000 TV episodes, including that of sitcoms like Friends, Will and Grace, and Frasier.

The tribute brought together the casts of the other shows Jim has worked on – the stars of The Big Bang Theory even posted a photo of themselves with the Friends stars. (LOOK: ‘Friends’ meets the ‘Big Bang Theory’ in this epic photo)
