MANILA, Philippines (2nd UPDATE) – In Game of Thrones‘s cruel Westeros, Jon Snow and Ygritte’s romance may have been cut too short. But at the Olivier Awards, Sunday, April 3 (Monday, April 4 in Manila) in London, the actors who play them – Kit Harington and Rose Leslie, respectively – have been spotted cozying it up on the red carpet.
The two actors, who have been private about their personal lives, have first sparked rumors of a romance in 2012. People magazine reports that later that year, “the love connection fizzled out.”
In his appearance in The Jonathan Ross show, April 2, Kit fessed up, “I fell in love in Iceland,” a shooting location of Game of Thrones. (WATCH: ‘Is Jon Snow dead?’: Kit Harington takes lie detector test about ‘Game of Thrones’)
“I fell in love with my co-star,” he added.
Jonathan showed an image of the pair in character, quipping, “This is Rose, who plays Ygritte, who I’ve met, who is just the loveliest girl and she could do so much better!”
At the Olivier Awards’ red carpet, the two were said to be chatting, and even shared a kiss as seen in a photo.

E! Online reported that the on-screen Game of Thrones couple rekindled their romance off-screen earlier in January, as they were spotted being affectionate toward each other in Los Angeles.
Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen on the show, may have given her approval of her friends’ romance.
In reference to photos snapped of the pair at Los Angeles, she told ET at the Screen Actors Guild Awards red carpet last January: “My goodness! You know, we like to spread the love on our show. It’s a beautiful thing. She’s one of my best friends, so it’s good.”
“I mean, there are worse things than being caught kissing Jon Snow!” Emilia quipped.
