Zsa Zsa Padilla after broken engagement: ‘I’m healing’

MANILA, Philippines – After it was confirmed she ended her engagement to Conrad Onglao, Zsa Zsa Padilla said she is now in the “process of healing.”

In an interview with the entertainment press, Tuesday, May 10, during the screening of the remastered movie Batang PX, Zsa Zsa said – as quoted by Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP): “I’m healing. I’m in the process of healing.”

“I’m very blessed that I have my family with me and the support of my friends… That’s all I need I guess,” she said.

Zsa Zsa also admitted that even at her age, she never stopped learning “life lessons,” and shared specific ones.

“Love yourself,” she said and added: “Always remember that your family [has] got your back.”

She also said that she had learned to keep things private. Alam mo, mula naman nung kami ni (You know, since it was just me and) Dolphy, my life has been an open book. From now on, sorry guys, but my private life has to be private,” she told the press.

“I have to keep some from myself. Those are some the lessons that I’ve learned and a lot more,” she continued.

Last May 3, Zsa Zsa’s daughter Karylle confirmed the report that her mom had ended her engagement to Conrad, a well-known architect.

The two were engaged last September 2015, and were scheduled to marry this year.

In an interview last March, Zsa Zsa said that their wedding would push through, but had kept details under wraps. (READ: Zsa Zsa Padilla on wedding plans, family life)

Zsa Zsa confirmed the relationship in 2014 when she posted a photo of them together holding hands.

Before Conrad, Zsa Zsa was in a relationship with comedy king Dolphy who died in 2012. – Rappler.com
