MANILA, Philippines (2nd UPDATE) – After her estranged husband Timothy Tan confirmed that they have separated, actress Sunshine Dizon gave her side of the story.

In a new Instagram post late Wednesday evening, June 22, Sunshine thanked her mom for being by her side and reiterated that her fight is for her two children Anton and Doreen.
“Mahirap mahiwalay sa mga bata sa mga ganitong panahon. Salamat sa Mama ko at andyan siya ‘pag kailangan ko mag trabaho at sa dalawa kong angels, Elona at Naneth. Mahirap maging ina pero kailangan natin lumaban at itaguyod ang ating mga anak.
(It’s never easy to be away from my kids at this time. Thank you to my mom for being there when I’m at work and to my two angels, Elona and Naneth. It’s not easy being a mother, but we have to fight and provide for our children.)
