Kris Aquino says she has met with ABS-CBN executives for her return to television.

MANILA, Philippines – Kris Aquino is preparing for her television comeback, as she has met with ABS-CBN executives.

Kris posted a photo on Instagram where she shared that she was preparing for the said meeting.

“On my way to the meeting for my return to TV. Please PRAY with me that whatever will happen & whatever road I’ll travel is God’s best path for me,” she captioned the post, which was geotagged to indicate that she was in ABS-CBN’s Eugenio Lopez Jr Communications Center.

Last March, Kris announced that she would take time off from showbiz to rest and take care of her children, Josh and Bimby.

She signed off from her show, Kris TV, after 5 years of being on air, citing some health concerns.

In the final episode of the show, she said, “I don’t want to say goodbye kasi babalik ako (I’ll be back). I’ll make sure of that. Pero I have to come back na healthy ako (But I have to come back when I’m healthy.”

According to a PEP report, Boy Abunda, her long-time co-host (most recently in Aquino & Abunda Tonight), said he is aware that the television network and Kris have been in talks.

“I am not in the position to discuss, pero (but) I know ABS-CBN and Kris are talking about a possible show or shows,” he said.

“You know, klaro naman yun, e, na kapag halimbawa bumalik si Kris, ang pagkakaalam ko, ha, kapag siya’y nagdesisyong bumalik, sila’y uupo ng ABS-CBN kung ano ang palabas na puwede nilang gawin together.”

(You know, it’s pretty clear that if Kris returns – based on what I know – if they come to a decision where she’ll be returning, ABS-CBN and her will sit down to discuss what programs they can do together.)

Just last June, Kris guested in Marian Rivera’s morning show, Yan Ang Morning. –
