LOOK: Selena Gomez arrives in Manila

MANILA, Philippines – Selena Gomez is all set to meet her Manila fans at her July 31 concert at the Mall of Asia Arena. The singer-actress-dancer landed in Manila a day ahead, Saturday, July 30. Here’s another photo taken at the airport. 

Earlier, Selena spoke to Rappler about her 2015 record Revival and her world tour. She had to cancel her Manila stop back in 2014 for personal reasons, but she’s back with a fresh sound, having taken even more creative control in her own career in the past few years and even restructured her team. It’s a move she says is a very important milestone over many years in the entertainment industry; Selena calls it her “going off to college” moment.

“It’s not easy living your life especially growing up in front of everyone. It’s an awkward time for anyone but imagine doing it in front of millions of people. I just have to remind myself of what’s important,” Selena says, reflecting on her work in front of the camera. 

Which of her songs will we likely hear? We don’t know as she’s set to surprise her fans, but we leave you with what she says is her favorite on her Revival record: “’Kill Em With Kindness’ is probably one of my favorites as it is the way I have chosen to live my life. I learned that from my mother from a very early age.”
