MANILA, Philippines – Rachelle Ann Go is going back to Miss Saigon! The singer-actress will reprise her role of Gigi on Broadway, starting March 1, 2017, at the The Broadway Theatre.
According to a report from broadwayworld.com, Rachelle, along with Devin Ilaw (Thuy), will join Jon Jon Briones, who plays the Engineer, and Eva Noblezada, who plays Kim, along with the American cast of the hit musical. The opening night for Miss Saigon is scheduled on March 23 and will run until January 14, 2018, before a North American tour.
On Twitter, Rachelle wrote: “I think I’m really going to BROADWAY!!!!!!!!!!!! Aaaaaah.”

Lea Salonga, who played Kim in the original Miss Saigon, congratulated Rachelle.

Rachelle was originally scheduled to return to Manila in November for a concert alongside KZ Tandingan, Yeng Constantino, Kyla, and Angeline Quinto. However, Cornerstone Entertainment Inc talent, which handles Rachelle’s career said she will no longer take part in the concert because of an upcoming project.
Rachelle Ann is currently in London as she’s playing Fantine in the West End production of Les Miserables. She played the same role during the musical’s Manila run too, in March. – Rappler.com
