Stars pay tribute to the late Alan Thicke

MANILA, Philippines – Alan Thicke died on Tuesday, December 13, and many took to social media to mourn his loss.

Thicke, known for his role in the ’80s sitcom Growing Pains, suffered a heart attack while playing hockey with his son. He was 69 years old.

His 3 sons, Brennan, Carter, and singer Robin Thicke, and his wife Tanya have yet to speak up on his death, but other family members, friends, and fans have remembered him on social media.

Among them are his first wife, Gloria Loring, Robin’s mother, who wrote on Facebook: “Dear Friends, thank you for your kindness concerning Alan Thicke’s passing. It is a shock. We were all just together for Thanksgiving. He was talented, funny and deeply devoted to his family. Rest in peace, dear one.”

Meanwhile, his former daughter-in-law Paula Patton, and his daughter-in-law Dolly Thicke did not mention Alan directly, but posted quotes and expressed sadness on social media.

Robin’s ex-wife Paula posted a quote about life from Mother Teresa.

Dolly, Brennan’s wife, shared on Facebook that she was devastated.

Alan recently appeared on Netflix’s Fuller House, and the stars of the show paid tribute to him, including Andrea Barber, Candace Cameron Bure, Bob Saget, Lori Loughlin, and Dave Coulier.
