MANILA, Philippines – The Randy Jackson-produced dance show, America’s Best Dance Crew, has gone off the air after 7 seasons, according to a report from TV Guide.

It was the show that launched the Jabbawockeez (season one winner) to stardom, among many others. The Jabbawockeez are known to perform with their trademark white masks and gloves.

Out of 7 members, 4 of them are Filipinos: Chris “Cristyle” Gatdula, Joe “Emajoenation” Larot, Rynan “Kid Rainen” Paguio and Phil “Swaggerboy” Tayag.

America’s Best Dance Crew was an MTV reality series. Judges were N’ Sync’s JC Chasez, rapper Lil Mama and half-Filipino, half-Latino D-Trix aka Dominic Sandoval, alumnus of another TV dance competition, So You Think You Can Dance.

Rapper Omarion is a former judge.

It was hosted by Mario Lopez, who hosts entertainment news show Extra and who has recently taken on The X-Factor with Khloe Kardashian.

“We are grateful to Randy Jackson and Warner Horizon for having brought our audience 7 amazing seasons of dance with ABDC,” said MTV in an official statement.

“[We] look forward to more successful and dynamic entertaining collaborations in the future.”

Jackson returns in American Idol season 12 that premieres on January 16, 2013. Joining him as judge are Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban.
