MANILA, Philippines – After Celine Dion and Deadpool’s iconic collaboration for the “Ashes” music video, fans can now get a behind-the-scenes look at how it came to be.
“Hey there, we’re behind the scenes of the new Deadpool 2 music video starring Celine Dion’s hologram,” Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) says as the one-minute video opens. He knows very well why he’s only performing with a hologram though: “A restraining order is a restraining order.”
Deadpool also tells us he removed his collarbones and 7 inches of spine to up his flexibility game for the video, and later mutters about how Celine thinks he’s Spider-Man all the time.
Celine’s “Ashes” is a song that’s featured on the Deadpool 2 soundtrack. Watch the full music video, which also features scenes from the movie, here.
