MANILA, Philippines – The Backstreet Boys dropped by at the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon to promote their new song “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart,” and not only did they sing one song, they also got the chance to perform one of their classics – “I Want It That Way,” using classroom instruments.
Dressed in white outfits, Jimmy and the boys – Brian, Kevin, AJ, Howie, and Nick – together with the Roots sang accompanied by a ukulele, maracas, xylophone and more. It was definitely a throwback for many.
Aside from Jimmy’s show, the boys also surprised some elevator passengers at the MTV office during a guesting for TRL. Dubbed as the “TRElelvator,” the ride led to an impromptu elevator singing of “I Want It That Way,” “Quit Playing Games With My Heart,” “As Long As You Love Me,” and “Everybody.”
The boys are currently working on their new album. Last month, they released “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart,” their first new song in 5 years. – Rappler.com
