MANILA, Philippines – He may be one of the world’s best dressed guys, but in his new short film promoting the latest collection of bodywear at H&M, David Beckham shows that he can carry that title even without being fully-dressed.

Directed by “Snatch” and “Sherlock Holmes” director Guy Ritchie, the 1:40 short starts with Beckham wearing a bathrobe over a tank top, army green boxer shorts, and a pair of fluffy white slippers. But when he waves his family goodbye in the morning, the SUV speeds off with his bathrobe as well.

As the front door shuts behind him, a sigh and shrug begins his thrilling chase over high walls, through hedges, in swimming pools, and on pavement to retrieve the damn robe. In the course of this urban obstacle course, he loses some items of clothing along the way.

In an interview with New York Daily News Beckham shares: “I loved doing it and people will get to see me play a role I’ve never done before!”

For his part, director Guy Richie says Beckham “makes the perfect leading man.”

Published on February 6, the video has 1,003,264 views as of writing.
