MANILA, Philippines – Who’s ready for more love, death, and robots?

Love, Death and Robots, the animated anthology of shorts that premiered in March 2019, is getting a second season on Netflix.

On Tuesday, June 11, it was announced on Twitter that Jennifer Yuh Nelson will be supervising director for the anthology’s second volume. Nelson directed Spawn, Kung Fu Panda 2, Kung Fu Panda 3, The Darkest Minds, and worked as a story artist for Madagascar (2005). 

Details on second season’s release date and episode count have not been revealed.

The first season of Love, Death and Robots consists of 18 standalone short films, each one with a different director and writer, as well as its own animation style. Its genres range from fantasy, comedy, science fiction, horror, drama, and thriller.

The series was produced by Oscar-nominated David Fincher, Tim Miller, Jennifer Miller, and Josh Donen. – Rappler.com
