The organizer says the concert is canceled due to 'unforeseen production circumstances'

MANILA, Philippines – The concert of The Chainsmokers originally set for August 15 will no longer push through.

In a statement, organizer MMI Live said that the group’s “World War Joy Tour” has been canceled due to “unforeseen production circumstances.”

“Details on the ticket refund process will be released within the week,” added MMI Live.

“We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.”

The duo’s concert was previously announced in May.

The boys’ last visit was back in 2017 for their Memories tour, following their first Manila show in 2014.

The platinum-selling duo is known for head-bopping dance floor hits and major collaborations, such as “Roses,” “Something Just Like This” with Coldplay, “Closer” with Halsey, “Paris,” “Don’t Let Me Down” with Daya, and the infamous “#SELFIE,” among others. – Rappler.com
