Disney released The Mandalorian’s first gritty trailer at the D23 Expo on Friday, August 23, introducing the mysterious, gunslinging lone ranger played by Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones) in a bleak, lawless, desert setting, impressive weapons and hardcore gear in tow. It is set after Return of the Jedi and the fall of the Empire.

The Mandalorian is the first live-action Star Wars series to premiere on television. It is directed by Jon Favreau (Happy Hogan in Iron Man) and director Taika Waititi of Thor Ragnarok. – Rappler.com
