MANILA, Philippines – The 9-9 is here to stay! In an early move, NBC renewed hit cop comedy show Brooklyn Nine-Nine for an 8th season, months before season 7’s February 6, 2020 premiere.

On Thursday, November 14, the show’s official Twitter page posted an adorable clip of the Nine-Nine cast excitedly receiving the renewal news during a table reading.

“Good things come to those who w8. The #Brooklyn99 squad will be coming back for Season 8 on NBC,” the post wrote.

 


In 2018, Brooklyn Nine-Nine was dropped by its original network Fox after 5 seasons. It was quickly saved by NBC, which picked the series up for a 6th and 7th season in February 2019.
