‘Kadenang Ginto’ gets Indonesian remake
AnTV's 'Putri Mahkota' began airing on January 5

MANILA, Philippines – ABS-CBN’s afternoon drama Kadenang Ginto starring Beauty Gonzalez and Dimples Romana is getting an Indonesian adaptation.

In a press release, ABS-CBN announced that AnTV starred airing Putri Mahkota last January 5.

“We’re excited for Indonesian viewers to welcome into their homes every night the story of Kadenang Ginto. This groundbreaking achievement will continue to inspire ABS-CBN to roll out narrative formats that foreign audiences will love,” ABS-CBN International Distribution Asia sales head Wincess Gonzalez said.

Myanmar has also been airing the original Philippine version of the show on Sky Net.

Kadenang Ginto tells the story of the ongoing feud between Romina Mondragon (Beauty) and her stepdaughter Daniela (Dimples). Their daughters Cassie (Francine Diaz) and Marga (Andrea Brillantes) also become rivals for attention within the family.

The show, which has been on air for more than a year, is set to end in a few weeks, based on a teaser from Dreamscape Entertainment.
