MANILA, Philippines – After a break from The Voice of the Philippines, Apl.de.ap returns as part of season two of The Voice Teens Philippines, which will begin airing starting February 8.
Apl.de.ap will rejoin Lea Salonga, Bamboo, and Sarah Geronimo as coach as they look for a new teen artist to develop in their respective teams.
In season 1, Sarah’s protege, Jona Soquite, won the title.
This season, a new rule has been added to the show – the Block Button. For this season, a coach is given the power to block or prevent another coach from being chosen by the teen artist. According to the rules, the block button is only valid if the coach turns during the blind auditions for the artist. The “blocked” coach will only find out he/she is blocked by another coach if he or she tries to turn.
The coaches can only use the Block Button twice during the blind auditions.
Alex Gonzaga and Luis Manzano return as hosts of The Voice Teens, with KaladKaren and Voice Teens season 1 finalist Jeremy Glinoga hosting the online segment of the show. – Rappler.com
