MANILA, Philippines – In response to a funny video by a fan asking him to a school dance, Joe Jonas made an equally amusing video inviting the young lady to his concert.

Shaina Kohli, a Pepperdine University senior, made a short film highlighting reasons why the Jonas Brothers frontman should escort her to their formal dance on April 14. In the video, Kohli said she is “a brave and adventurous type of girl.”

With much help from her peers, Kohli showed off her “nice shoes,” “great high fives,” “Indian accent,” and basketball skills, promising a night of wilding out to the Harlem shake and “partying like it’s the year 3000.”

Because he can’t go the dance, Joe Jonas offered to escort Kohli to a front row seat at the Jonas Brothers concert in Chicago on July 10.

He made a reply video featuring comical anecdotes of him drinking wine in a NASCAR suit and swaying to the sexy tune of “Careless Whisper.”

“Shaina, you’ve been holding your weight in this relationship too long, now it’s time to do my part. Please accept my invite as my special guest,” he said while lifting weights and working out.

The surprise did not end there. On the April 9, 2013 “Today” show, Joe Jonas disguised as Ned (complete with a fake nose, a wig, and a mustache) invited Kohli to the concert in person. – Rappler.com
