Janet Jackson hits billionaire status

MANILA, Philippines – Multiplatinum singer Janet Jackson is now a billionaire according to Variety Magazine, via ET News.

The star’s net worth has reportedly gone over one billion, having sold over $250 million worth of albums, over $450 million in tour sales, and over $80 million worth of music and publishing fees.

Jackson also earned some $300 million for acting roles on “The Nutty Professor,” “For Colored Girls,” and “Klumps Poetic Justice.”

Jackson’s husband Wissam Al Mana, who she privately married in 2012 is also a billionaire. 

Jackson is known for hits “Together Again,” “All for You,” and “Doesn’t Really Matter,” among others.
