Miley Cyrus in the buff with new video

MANILA, Philippines – Miley Cyrus outdoes herself again. The actress-singer and daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus has released a video of her new single, “Wrecking Ball.”

The track is an advance single of her new album, “BANGERZ,” Cyrus’ 4th, due for release October, reports Huffington Post.

It’s the images that stand out more than the music, although another track in “BANGERZ” alludes to drug use, which may soon lead to the star, formerly of “Hannah Montana,” exploring other controversial themes.

The moving and freeze-framed images, as presented in yoodot.com and other sites, are evidently calculated to cause a buzz.

The video features Cyrus licking a sledgehammer and riding a wrecking ball in her birthday suit, amid an industrial-themed background that hints at the contraption fantasies of BDSM (bondage-dominance-submission or sado-masochism).

Cyrus recently caused a sensation, as well as outrage and ridicule, for her “twerking” performance at the MTV Video Music Awards in New York, August 25.

The director of “Wrecking Ball” himself, Terry Richardson, is no stranger to controversy, reports “Los Angeles Times,” describing the photographer-director as “a controversial figure in the fashion world who’s been repeatedly accused of exploiting kids and inappropriately touching models.” – Rappler.com
