MANILA, Philippines – Celebrities from around the world have expressed their solidarity with the Filipino people in the wake of the magnitude 7.2 earthquake that hit Central Visayas.

Right after news broke of the quake, concerned citizens took to the Internet to share their prayers.

Celebrities also shared similar responses to the disaster as the general public.

Other than prayers, there were expressions of shock and calls for help on social media.
