MANILA, Philippines – Halloween is dress-up time, and celebrities are not exempt from going all out with their costumes.

The stars – local and foreign – proved again this year that there is style in horror and glamor in gore, dolling up as beloved pop culture characters, sexy ghouls and zombies, and more.

Check out these memorable celebrity costumes from Halloween 2013:

Model and actress Solenn Heussaff created monstrous artworks out of her celebirty friends, including model Georgina Wilson and style icon Liz Uy.

Donning heavy wigs and heavy make-up by Heussaff, the ladies  ruled the catwalk of the underworld.

In a different setting, Georgina Wilson donned a Malibu Barbie outfit.

The model also found one of her peers dressed as her. See the resemblance?

While his zombie doll friends seemed prepped for partying, TV host Raymond Gutierrez came to call it a night.

Seems like Cristine Reyes, with a pillow and looking ready for bed, had the same idea.

Dressed as a Smurfette, Bianca Gonzalez nabbed the Best in Costume award at one of her Halloween parties.

Can you guess which bald guy Tim Yap is trying to be?

He’s Gru from “Despicable Me” – Minions in tow!

Magalona siblings Maxene, Saab, Elmo, Frank, and Clara didn’t miss the Halloween celebrations.

Maxene as a girl scout

Saab as batgirl

Elmo and Frank as Jesse Pinkman and Heisenberg from television series “Breaking Bad”

Clara all smiles in her blonde wig

Comedian Vice Ganda sent his Halloween cheer from Hong Kong.

Comedienne Nanette Inventor came as “Nanet Nafoolish,” a Janet Napoles parody, for Tim Yap’s late night talk show.

Adorable television host Ryzza Mae Dizon dressed up and made funny faces for the camera.

Meanwhile, KC Concepcion needed no elaborate costume to create a scare. Here she is with some live snakes.

From Hollywood, here are some interesting celebrity costumes:

Miley Cyrus as rapper ‘Lil Kim

“Twerk or treat!” Paris Hilton as Miley Cyrus

Neil Patrick Harris, David Burtka, and children as “Alice in Wonderland” characters for their kids’ pre-school Halloween carnival
