NEW YORK, New York – 7-time Grammy awardee Usher expanded his repertoire further by hitting the stage in the New York production of Fuerza Bruta, an unconventional and innovative twist to musical theatre. Fuerza Bruta, translated as “brute force,” is a dialogue-free yet heart-pounding mix of sound, visual effects, dynamic action, and innovative spectacles.

Usher appeared in two shows last weekend in Manhattan’s Daryl Roth Theatre, where he played the leading man.

Fuerza Bruta is known for allowing the audience to interact with the performers in a unique 360 degree stage. Performances suspended mid-air, flying walls, and a floating pool are just some of the things to expect from the thrilling show.

Producers of the show expressed their excitement stating, “We couldn’t be more honored that a powerhouse such as Usher (was) part of the excitement and awe that is Fuerza Bruta.

The show wowed Manila audiences last February and March. – Rappler.com
