MANILA, Philippines – Justin Bieber has been in all sorts of shenanigans lately– strip clubs, vandalism, drugs, egging a neighbor’s house – but only recently did the pop star get himself arrested.
Bieber’s January 23 arrest for driving under the influence is all over the news. What’s more, TMZ also reported that the 19-year-old had a female passenger riding with him, and her records weren’t pristine either.
Several reports have identified that model Chantel Jeffries, who had reportedly spent time with Bieber that night, has had 5 previous run-ins with the law, including speeding and misdemeanor assault, according to The Daily Mail. According to the report, the 21-year-old was accused of assault with a deadly weapon in 2011 after allegedly stabbing a woman on her left forearm. Charges were later on dropped.
The model however, was not arrested on Thursday’s incident.
On the night of the arrest, Jeffries posted a tweet that may or may have not been about her joyride with the singer. “Something about the shock factor,” she wrote.
