MANILA, Philipines  Game of Thrones fans, brace yourselves for the most shocking, mind blowing, climactic, and intense season to date, said the directors and cast in a 15-minute promo for the show’s 4th season.

Spoiler alert: if you haven’t seen season 3, read no further.

Where does the story head after the brutal murder of Robb Stark (Richard Madden) and Catelyn Stark (Michelle Fairley) at “The Red Wedding”? Why is this season the most dangerous one for Tyrion Lannister? What were the weirdest and most terrifying scenes the actors were faced with?

These queries and more were answered in the feature Ice and Fire: A Foreshadowing, with behind-the-scenes footage of what the cast considers to be the most jaw-dropping set design and production to date.

“I’m shocked by the sheer scale, I’ve really never seen anything like that in Game of Thrones before,” said Gwendoline Christie, who plays Brienne.

This season, viewers can expect to be on the edge of their seats for more bloody confrontations and multiple climactic events.

Director, writer, and producer D.B. Weiss said the season doesn’t build towards one specific climactic event. “There are more climactic events in season 4 than there have before,” he said, hoping that this season’s impact will be greater than the previous season’s.

Another thing to be excited about? The good guys are coming back, said Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark.

“We’re making a stand,” she said.
