MANILA, Philippines – The Wedding Singer fans, you are in for a treat.

While guesting together on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore showed viewers that their quirky chemistry had not faded since their first movie together – all this, song.

The “Every 10 Years” song summed up their romantic comedy history, with Drew and Adam recalling the first time they met. It also cracked up the audience as Adam asked Drew to confirm that he was her best leading man: better than Ben Stiller (Duplex), Hugh Grant (Music and Lyrics), and even Jimmy Fallon himself (Fever Pitch).

The pair first appeared in The Wedding Singer (1998), and then in 50 First Dates (2004), and will appear again in the upcoming Blended, about exes who find themselves on the same Africa vacation with their respective kids.

“Truth is, you’ve made me better than I ever thought I could be,” sang Drew. “Every 10 years, you’ll always have me,” they both sing.

The audience really lost it, however, when Adam and Jimmy pulled out all the stops and played a reference to the now iconic scene in The Wedding Singer

“Oh I could be the man who grows old with you,” he sang. “I wanna grow old with Drew-y!”

In The Wedding Singer, Adam’s character Robbie Hart surprised Drew’s Julia Sullivan aboard a plane, with a song written by his character. The song “Grow Old With You” has since been a fan favorite at many real-life weddings.

Of course, Drew teared up a little – who wouldn’t? – Rappler.com
