MANILA, Philippines – In an effort to lift up Filipinos everywhere, they’ve “Let It Go.”

Fil-Ams Jessica Sanchez performed the hit song from Frozen at the Pinoy Relief concert on March 11 (March 12 in Manila), accompanied by songwriter Bobby Lopez. His wife Kristen Anderson-Lopez was also in attendance.

Prior to the show, Jessica had expressed feeling “kinda nervous” about such a major performance, but also said that she wanted to do anything she could to give back to the Philippines. 

Of course, she more than delivered. During the show, excited netizens took to Twitter, Instagram, and Vine to express their excitement over the explosive number. 

 


Previously in November 2013, Jessica launched her single “Lead Me Home,” with proceeds from the song, which was available for US $1.29, going to the Philippines. 

Artists like apl.de.ap, Charice Pempengco, Jennifer Hudson, Pentatonix, Plain White T’s, A Great Big World, DJ Poet Name Life, Reo Brothers, as well as Dr. Oz and Dante Basco, are also involved with the concert. 

All proceeds from the concert will be for the benefit of victims of typhoon Yolanda in the Philippines. – Rappler.com
