MANILA, Philippines – Actress Anne Curtis just laughed at the rumor that she and boyfriend restaurateur and food blogger Erwan Heussaff had called it quits, as claimed by an entertainment blog.

In an interview with Pep, the Dyesebel star said whoever spread the false report was just after bad publicity.

“Oo nga, ang labo! (I can’t understand it!) I think whoever started it – nice try for making negative publicity.”

“It’s not true and we’re very happy. He’s here tonight,” she said referring to her concert AnneKapal at the Araneta Coliseum on Friday night, May 16.

“I really don’t know kahit ang kanyang intention. Pero mabuti na rin na nalinawan kaagad-agad within the same day na it’s not true. He’s [Erwan] non-showbiz so he doesn’t really get the whole tsismis na lumabas (gossip). Hindi pa niya nage-gets.” ( I don’t know the intention [behind the rumor]. But I’m glad it was clarified within the same day. He [Erwan] doesn’t get the gossip that came out.)

“Kaya medyo sarcastic ang kanyang mga posts (That’s why his posts in social media were sarcastic),” the actress explained. 

When asked how she and Heussaff are doing, Curtis said that they are very happy.

Showbiz blog Fashion Pulis on Tuesday, May 13, posted that the couple of 4 years had broken up, citing a “reliable source.”

On Wednesday, May 14, Heussaff took to his Twitter account in addressing the rumor saying that he and Curtis are fine. – Rappler.com
