On the pilot episode last June 1, Richard finally admitted that he was a  “proud father” to Zion, a year after he took a leave from showbiz.

In the second episode, Richard shared how he and Sarah took care of Zion who was born in Switzerland last year. Despite the hardships, the actor said it was all worth it.

In an interview on The Buzz, Richard along with his mother Annabelle Rama clarified that they never denied the existence of Zion.

“I never denied it. [For] Sarah and I, we went through a lot last year. And Sarah and I realized that it was to wait for the right move for the right time,” Richard said.

Annabelle for her part admitted that she was worried when she heard that Richard and Sarah were going to be parents.

Umiyak ako…deep in my heart I was so so worried. Nag-cry talaga ako…Sana nagbibiro lang si Chard, sana hindi totoo,” the talent manager said.

(I cried…deep in my heart I was so so worried. I really cried…I hoped that Chard was just joking, that it wasn’t true.)

When asked if he and Sarah are already engaged, the actor said they are not.

“One major life decision at a time. I mean sobrang blessing sa amin na dumating si baby Zion sa buhay namin and ngayon pa lang namin siya na shashare sa lahat ng tao…I think yung marriage will also come at the right time.”

(I mean it is such a blessing that baby Zion came to our life and we are now only sharing him with the people…I think marriage will also come at the right time.)

Asked if Sarah is the one, Richard said: “Of course I wouldn’t be spending time with her if she’s not the right girl…but now I think it’s important also na kababalik lang niya sa work and we are doing a reality show, and we are enjoying our time having baby Zion so doon muna kami naka-focus for now. Everthing will fall into place.”

(I think it’s important also but she just returned to work and we are doing a reality show, and we are enjoying our time having Baby Zion so we’ll focus there first.)

Richard said that because of what he and Sarah went through, their relationship is stronger than ever.

“I’m very proud of her. Sa lahat ng pinagdaanan namin, nandoon kami para sa isa’t isa… yung bond namin ni Sarah ngayon is I think is unbreakable.”

(For all we have been through, we were there for one another…the bond Sarah and I have now is unbreakable.) –
