MANILA, Philippines – The Star Magic Ball is the fans’ chance to see their favorite stars all dressed up in their evening best, and this is true especially for our favorite male celebrities.

Several gentlemen arrived with their partners, which is why they weren’t photographed solo. 

A dateless Matteo Guidicelli arrived without girlfriend Sarah Geronimo, while Coco Martin was the last to walk the red carpet for the evening. Matteo went the classic route in Kenzo, while Coco’s Saint Laurent suit featured a snowy white bowtie. (READ: In Photos: Couples, loveteams at Star Magic Ball 2014)

While most gentlemen often opt for classic tailored pieces in formal black, there were a few who chose to go the opposite way. Daniel Padilla wore a red suit by Joey Samson and accessorized with a black cane (partner Kathryn Bernardo wore a silver dress by Albert Andrada, but complemented Daniel with a striking red lip).  (READ: Highlights, Star Magic Ball 2014) 

Jake Cuenca channeled old Hollywood with a white jacket and a dark pocket square (ensemble by Francis Libiran), while Sam Milby wore a gray suit by Hugo Boss. 

Meanwhile, other gents opted for dark suits, but experimented with texture or accessories. John Lloyd Cruz stood tall in a Gucci suit with textured lapels, while Talk Back and You’re Dead star Joseph Marco didn’t wear a tie, but wore an upturned collar with a polka-dotted accessory instead (ensemble by Joey Samson). Of course, classic suits never go out of style, as proven by dashing Xian Lim in his Francis Libiran outfit, and Gerald Anderson in his Dolce & Gabbana suit.
