MANILA, Philippines – It’s the latest from entertainer Jimmy Fallon and his hit viral videos from the Tonight Show. This one features an epic reunion of the cast of ‘90s hit Saved By The Bell, featuring most of the original cast.
The video, over 8 minutes long, features Jimmy as a student of Bayside High. Jimmy talks to his friend Zack Morris, played by Mark-Paul Gosselaar, about attending a dance.
As if that weren’t awesome enough, this was followed by appearances from Tiffani Amber-Thiessen (Kelly Kapowski), Mario Lopez (AC Slater), Elizabeth Berkley (Jessie Spano), and Dennis Haskins (Richard Belding). There were also several meta references to projects the stars did after their time on Saved By The Bell, including Mario Lopez’s stint on Dancing With The Stars and Elizabeth Berkley’s role on Showgirls.
One of the best bits came when Jimmy tells the cast that he’s moving to New York to chase his dreams…including maybe one day, dating Nicole Kidman.
Nicole was already a popular star in the ‘90s when the show aired – and recently, it was revealed that Jimmy almost had a chance with her, but blew it after a visit to his apartment had Nicole thinking he wasn’t interested.
Notably absent were Lisa Turtle (Lark Voorhies) and Screech (Dustin Diamond).
