MANILA, Philippines – Someone’s taken a record number of selfies! Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson recently posted about his latest achievement on Instagram.

Dwayne posted a photo of a certificate from Guinness World Records for having the most self-portraits taken in record time while promoting his movie.

“We just set a NEW GUINNESS WORLD RECORD for most self portraits (selfies) taken in record time (yup, a selfie world record exists and your arm gets a helluva workout). WORLD PREMIERE of SAN ANDREAS and rewriting the record books all in one night. #MicDropBoom #NewSelfieKing #LONDON #SanAndreasWorldTour MAY 29th,” he wrote.

Dwayne apparently took 105 photos in about 3 minutes, which got him the title. All this, while promoting his new movie San Andreas, which opens Thursday, May 28 in the Philippines.

Still, he said he has no plans of outdoing reality star Kim Kardashian when it comes to taking selfies (or coming out with a whole book of them). Kim’s famous for posting tons of selfies on her own Instagram account, with over 34.2 million followers. (READ: Ready for ‘San Andreas’)

“Here’s the thing, you don’t need a book when you’re in The Guinness Book of World Records. That’s the thing – I have the record,” he said in an interview with E! News Online.

As for the title, Dwayne said: “She can’t be king. She’s the selfie queen.”

Kim, who is busy with the show Keeping Up with The Kardashians and her many ventures, recently released a book called Selfish, featuring – you guessed it – a ton of her selfies. –
