MANILA, Philippines – After 8 years as a couple, TV host-actress Toni Gonzaga and director Paul Soriano are all set for their wedding and party, June 12 at Toni’s hometown of Taytay, Rizal.
The couple have been discreet about the details of their wedding, but we do have a few details. According to a press release from ABS-CBN, Toni will wear a Vera Wang gown, while Paul will wear a Hugo Boss suit.
Toni’s sister Alex Gonzaga will be the maid of honor, while Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano will serenade the couple.
Toni and Paul also enlisted the help of wedding coordinator Rita Neri for their special day.
Some of the sponsors in their wedding have been announced. According to a report from ABS-CBN, these include Manila mayor Joseph Estrada, boxing champ and Sarangani congressman Manny Pacquiao, ABS-CBN chairman Gabby Lopez, and ABS-CBN president Charo Santos-Concio.
Event stylist, designer and florist Gideon Hermosa posted on Instagram what appears to be a sneak peek of the arrangement for the wedding, using one of the special day’s hashtags, #PerfectTogether.
He later posted another photo.
A fan of Alex posted a photo of the church where the wedding will be held today.

A wedding special is scheduled to be aired on Saturday, June 13 entitled Perfect Together: Paul and Toni’s Wedding Special after Maalala Mo Kaya.
Toni met Paul 8 years ago during a concert of Gary Valenciano. After visits to the sets of shows and a courtship which led to meeting Toni’s parents, the two became an official couple. Paul has also directed two of Toni’s music videos, which includes “Catch Me I’m Fallin'”.
In February of this year, Toni confirmed that Paul proposed to her near her birthday. Toni said that once she is married to Paul, he will become her top priority. (READ: Will there be a prenup for Toni Gonzaga and Paul Soriano?)

In preparation for the wedding, the couple’s prenuptial photos have been released. Taken by Oly Ruiz and also by Pat Dy, one set of photos showed the couple at the National Museum, while another set showed them relaxed and spending time outdoors.

Toni’s sister Alex also held a bridal shower attended by close friends which include Vice Ganda, Angel Locsin, Bea Alonzo, Bianca Gonzalez and Mariel Rodriguez.
Two days before the wedding, a despedida del soltera was held for the couple attended by their family and friends.
