From viral karaoke vid to 'The Voice PH': Watch Alisah Bonaobra's stunning audition

MANILA, Philippines –  Alisah Bonaobra, whose video of her singing the Frozen hit "Let It Go" went viral last June, has just achieved a major milestone: she's now competing on The Voice of the Philippines.

During the continuation of the blind auditions Sunday, November 16, Alisah sang the song “Domino,” which got 3 turns from coaches Lea Salonga, Sarah Geronimo and Apl de Ap.

Watch her audition here:

Fans of The Voice will remember that another Voice alum sang the same song for his audition: social media sensation and Voice Kids runner-up Darren Espanto

Lea recalled the experience of hearing Darren sing and said that she regretted not turning back then. She said she made a promise that if she ever heard the song again and was as impressed, she would turn her chair. (READ: IN PHOTOS: Darren Espanto in ‘The Total Performance'' solo show)

“No regrets, ang galing mo (you're so good)!” Lea said.

Apl, on the other hand, said that he would love for her to be on his team. He gave her a crown and asked her to be the queen to his king of RnB.

Meanwhile, Sarah said she loved how effortlessly Alisah sang.

In the end, Alisah picked Apl to be her mentor.

Alisah, 19, said that she had to stop schooling and and is helping her family earn a living. Prior to joining The Voice, a number of videos of her singing made the rounds on the Internet.
