MANILA, Philippines – Fil-Am singer Angelica Hale is the second place winner on America's Got Talent season 12, which saw singing ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer take home the top title.
The winners were named on the show's finale on September 20 (September 21, Philippine time).
"We still don't understand how a li'l cutie like you has a voice like that," America's Got Talent tweeted from its official account. "Your future couldn't be brighter."

Angelica, who turned 10 over the course of the competition, has stunned viewers and judges alike throughout the season.
The young singer has weathered many difficulties in her life, particularly a bacterial infection that attacked her body and required her to receive a kidney transplant. Even before joining the competition, she has been performing across the US to raise funds for hospitals and other charities.
Angelica had a tough act to beat in winner Darci Lynne.
The 12-year-old has impressed audiences not only for her humor, skillful ventriloquism, and puppeteering, but also for her singing, which she took to a new level when she performed a duet with two puppets for the finale. The performance, which had her switching between two different singing voices with her lips barely moving an inch, earned rabid applause from the crowd.
Darci Lynne, who uses ventroliquism to overcome her shyness, also earned the Golden Buzzer from judge Mel B – and a theater-wide standing ovation – during her first audition on the season's first episode.
As the winner, Darci Lynne will take home the grand prize: $1 million, and a headlining show on the Las Vegas strip. – Rappler.com
