Best of the night: Who stood out at the Bench 'Naked Truth' show?

MANILA, Philippines – Retail brand Bench put on a star-studded show for its fashion event The Naked Truth Saturday, September 20.

Bankable celebrities and rising stars emerged in their undies and their denim best, prompting audience members to tweet and Instagram up a storm as they viewed the show. (READ: In Photos: Stars sizzle in undies, denim at Bench 'Naked Truth' fashion show)

There were no awards given that night, but Rappler rounded up some of the best in show, including those who stood out in their skivvies. 

Most sculpted body – guys

1. Tom Rodriguez

His Bench billboard in Guadalupe gave everyone a sneak peek of what was to come in the show. And he did not disappoint the audience, particularly when he pulled down the sides of his military green briefs. 

2. Arnold Van Opstal 

He may look intimidating on court, but Arnold Van Opstal showed his daring side when he walked onstage in classic black undies showing off his toned body. The La Salle Green Archer thanked his followers after show, saying he had the best time of his life. 

Most sculpted body - girls

1. Solenn Heussaff

Clad in a black ensemble designed by Michael Cinco, Solenn was a sexy señorita as she walked the runway. The black headpiece and veil was a nice touch to her dark, leather-and-lace outfit. 

2. Ellen Adarna

Blood pressures in the room went up when Ellen Adarna emerged onstage in a demure white dress...then they shot through the roof when John Spainhour removed the dress to reveal a lavender bra and panty set with see-through panels. 

Best Entrance - Kim Chiu

Covered in a white veil, Kim Chiu was accompanied by acrobatic dancers as she walked the runway. The actress walked around wearing a white top and later took it off to show her toned body in a white cropped top and jeans.

Best Exit - Jake Cuenca 

In his last walk for Bench, Jake Cuenca fulfilled his promise to make a lasting impression on stage when he came out in undies exposing his butt.  

Most dressed up 

1. KathNiel

It was not just about stars and models parading in their undies. Compared to the older stars, teen king and queen Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo could not be expected to arrive in skimpy clothes.

Instead, the teens opted to cover up in age-appropriate outfits as was suitable to their wholesome image, with Kathryn wearing a dress and Daniel wearing jeans from the brand’s clothing line.

The duo’s romantic stage performance did give the crowd the kilig moment especially when Daniel gave Kathryn a rose and later, a big hug. The on-screen love team are rumored to be dating, but have not confirmed any relationship status. 

2. Coco Martin

Coco Martin, who closed the runway of 2012’s Universe show was also covered up, wearing jeans, shirt, and a jacket. He did, however, have a rather sexy interaction with a model onstage, quite literally leading her on.

Best Surprise of the Night - Markki Stroem

One of the highlights of the Bench fashion show was the formal introduction of its new celebrity underwear endorsers. Markki Stroem, who rose to fame a finalist in ABS-CBN’s Pilipinas Got Talent surprised the audience with his bondage-inspired outfit, sculpted abs, and naughty stare. 

Best Moves Onstage - Rocco Nacino

It was not just walking on stage but also showing dance moves. Actor Rocco Nacino added some pizzaz to his walk when he slid and danced onstage, giving the acrobats a run for their money in their performance.

Best Fashion Statement

1. Marian Rivera

GMA 7’s Primetime Queen was the last one to walk onstage, looking hot in a pink bra and long skirt, emphasizing her gorgeous figure. 

2. Solenn Heussaff 

Entering as one of the models for Michael Cinco’s collection, with a headdress and veil, Solenn gave the audience enough time to look at her toned-body as she sashayed on stage. 

Best smoldering stare 

1. Paulo Avelino 

What's Paulo Avelino inviting the ladies to do in this picture? Whatever it is, we think the answer's "Yes." He didn't take off those pants, but could he be saving that for his big walk at Cosmo's Bachelor Bash this year? He did promise fans "more skin."

2. Dominic Roque 

The young actor also had heads turning when he had his turn onstage in Bench/c5inco briefs, sporting that commanding stare.

Best fearless, fierce catwalk

Transgender model Geena Rocero was the first trans model to walk the Bench underwear show, and she served fierce (in her own words) onstage, making sure people wouldn't soon forget her memorable catwalk.  

Most talked about moment - Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati

The newest couple to hit the Bench runway, Richard and Sarah got the MOA audience in a frenzy when they made out onstage. The couple, who are parents to baby Zion, had everyone talking about their sexy stunt.  (READ: IN PHOTOS: Couples, love teams walk the Bench ‘Naked Truth’ runway)
