Calvin Harris injured in car accident

MANILA, Philippines – Musician and producer Calvin Harris, real name Adam Wiles, was injured in a car accident Friday evening, May 20 (May 21 in Manila). 

His verified Facebook page confirmed that he was in an accident and would be unable to play in Omnia, a club in Las Vegas. 

"Adam's transport was involved in a collision this evening on the way to the airport. As a result he will be unable to perform at Omnia tonight. He has been examined by doctors and told to rest for a few days," read the statement on Facebook. 


TMZ reported that Calvin had been the passenger in the vehicle that had been hit by a teenager driving a VW convertible. The report says that one of the passengers in the teenager's car was ejected from the vehicle, and that Calvin suffered a laceration on his face and had to be taken to the hospital.

Calvin has a residency at Omnia nightclub in Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, where he was supposed to play the evening of the accident. –
