MANILA, Philippines – Celebrity couple Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzalez have reunited with their children Atasha and Andres in Paris to attend the Le Bal des Débutantes, where Atasha was selected to represent the Philippines.

In an Instagram post on Friday, November 25, Charlene shared a short video of them at the ball’s dance rehearsals in Shangri-La Hotel Paris. “Here we go,” she wrote.

Charlene also reposted a photo of Atasha getting ready for the event.

Aga also shared more snaps from their family reunion, writing: “No words…just happy.” Aga and Charlene’s twins are pursuing their college degrees in Europe, with Atasha studying in the United Kingdom, while Andres is based in Spain.

It was in September when it was first announced that Atasha would join the prestigious Paris debutante ball.

The exclusive charity ball organized by Ophélie Renouard has presented daughters of elite and influential personalities since 1994. According to their website, the initiative is “a girls-help-girls humanitarian association launched to promote women’s education in Southeast Asia.”

In an Insider interview, founder Renouard shared that the small circle of debutantes often have a “certain profile” and are usually hardworking students and interested in charity. Lily Collins, Princess Akshita Bhanj Deo, Kyra Kennedy, and Princess Diana’s niece Lady Kitty Spencer are some notable alumni of the grand ball.

Atasha said that she’ll be participating in the event “to raise funds for Necker enfants Maledes hospital and in association for the cardiology research for fetus to adult.”

Aside from the Muhlach family, Filipina actress-socialite Heart Evangelista also attended the event.

On Instagram, Heart shared a photo with Atasha’s parents Aga and Charlene. “Pinoy pride at the Le Bal des Debutantes 2022. So proud of this young woman for representing the country tonight [Atasha Muhlach],” she wrote. “Congratulations to the proud parents.

Aside from Atasha, other Filipino socialites who have been invited to the charity in the previous years include Paloma Urquijo Zobel de Ayala, Natalia Zobel, Monica Urquijo Zobel, Emily Madrigal, Dominique Cojuangco, Monica Concepcion, Kayla Uytengsu, and Rocio Zobel. – Rappler.com
