Arnel Pineda hits 'bashers' after brother's arrest

Singer and Journey frontman Arnel Pineda, in an Instagram post late Wednesday, October 7 hit "bashers" over their reactions after his brother Rusmon was arrested for alleged possession of drugs.

In the lengthy post, the Arnel wrote: “To the bashers who chose to cowardly succumb to prejudism and unkindness while hiding conveniently in the cloak of your keyboards and computer screens, there are more helpful and useful things to do, like facing your precious mirror once in a while. Who knows, you might find yourselves as imperfect as me, my family, and everyone else."

“To my real friends and supporters, who knows that our friendship is eternally unbounded by time and space, you know who you are,” he said.

Arnel thanked his supporters for sending their prayers and love.

“You don’t even know how much all of you have hugely blessed us by sending kind & comforting words. May God be with you all always. Love and peace.”

On October 6, Rusmon, 51, and a barangay tanod from Sacred Heart identified as Rojimar Frilles, were arrested by Quezon City police after the two sold allegedly sold P23,000 worth of shabu to an undercover cop.

The two face charges related to the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. –
