Assunta de Rossi gives birth to ‘miracle baby’ Fiore

Assunta de Rossi has given birth to a baby girl named Fiore, her first child with husband Jules Ledesma.

Her sister Alessandra shared a photo of mom and baby on her Instagram on October 23, writing in the caption: “This is the most beautiful photo for life! Little Fiore and tears of joy in my sister’s eyes.”

“Almost 20 years in the making! Miracles happen every day, and this one is the best!”

Assunta had previously called Fiore her “miracle baby,” sharing she had struggled to conceive for years due to having both myoma (benign tumors that develop in and around the uterus) and endometriosis (a painful condition in which tissue similar to the uterine lining grows outside the uterus).

“Getting pregnant the natural way with myoma and endometriosis (which I both have) is extremely difficult. Only medical intervention or a miracle can make it happen. This was a miracle!” the 37-year-old actress said in a previous Instagram post.

Assunta and Jules, 59, have been married since December 2002. Jules has two adult children from a previous marriage. – Rappler.com
