ASTRO’s Rocky, Park Bo-yeon react to dating rumors
Rocky’s agency says the two have ‘developed positive feelings,’ while Bo-yeon’s agency insists that the two are just ‘close acquaintances’

MANILA, Philippines – South Korean actress Park Bo-yeon and Rocky of K-pop boy group ASTRO have addressed rumors that they are dating, with their agency releasing contradicting statements.

Rumors of the two dating began circulating online after Park was seen attending the musical The Three Musketeers, which stars Rocky. Park also reportedly co-wrote the lyrics for Rocky’s solo track “S#1,” which was included on ASTRO’s album Drive to the Starry Road.

Following the speculations, Park’s agency Management KOO said that the two were not dating.

“We checked [regarding these rumors], and Rocky is just a close acquaintance who she worked with on [the web drama] Find Me If You Can,” the label said, according to a Soompi report.

However, ASTRO’s agency Fantagio confirmed that the two are “currently getting to know each other with positive feelings.”

The label said that Park and Rocky first met through the 2021 web drama Find Me If You Can, and grew closer after working together. They also confirmed that Park participated in Rocky’s music production.

“After spending time as acquaintances, they recently developed positive feelings for each other,” Fantagio said in a statement.

Rocky made his debut as a member of ASTRO in 2016. Park Bo-yeon is known for her roles in series One Find Week, True Ending, and Cheer Up. Rappler.com
