LOOK: Catriona Gray visits CamSur, Catanduanes with Philippine Red Cross

Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray went to Camarines Sur and Catanduanes on Saturday, December 5, to join the Philippine Red Cross in the distribution of cash grants and shelter tool kits for those affected by typhoons that hit the country last month.

Catriona, whose mom is from Oas, Albay wrote: "Traveled with Philippine Red Cross to typhoon-affected areas Cam Sur and Catanduanes to be present in the giving of Multipurpose Cash Grant and Shelter tool kits. And I just want to say THANK YOU to all of our donors, locally and abroad, who have come together to give to our typhoon-affected kababayans."

"It's one thing to call for awareness and donations on my platforms, but a completely different thing to be present in person when the aid is given. "

Camarines Sur and Catanduanes are among the provinces in the Bicol region badly hit by Super Typhoon Rolly (Goni), which destroyed houses and billions with in crops and rice.

Another typhoon, Ulysses, then passed through the Bicol region, Calabarzon, and National Capital Region, triggering floods. – Rappler.com
