Singer-songwriter Halsey announced that she is expecting her first baby with screenwriter and partner Alev Aydin.
The 26-year-old musician shared the news in an Instagram post on Wednesday, January 27, posting snaps from her maternity shoot with the caption: “surprise!”
In the photo, she tagged Aydin, 37, who also shared the post on his Instagram stories.
The two were first rumored to be dating in January 2021, but neither had confirmed their relationship yet.
Halsey, whose real name is Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, revealed in 2018 that she had frozen her eggs due to an endometriosis diagnosis, a painful disorder that may result in infertility for some women. The singer suffered a miscarriage in 2015 while she was on tour. – Rappler.com
