Following the news of her pregnancy, Jennylyn Mercardo announced that she will resume shooting for her television series Love, Die, Repeat in 2022 once she is physically ready again.
“Maraming salamat sa aking GMA family (Thank you to my GMA family) for understanding my condition and allowing me to still finish Love, Die, Repeat next year once I am ready to work again,” the actress wrote in a Facebook post on Sunday, October 31.
She added that she’s grateful that the series will still push through.
Love, Die, Repeat is Jennylyn’s series with Xian Lim, which was originally set to air in early 2022. In September, the lock-in taping for the series was put on hold after Jennyln suffered a medical emergency.
Jennylyn’s post about the project comes two days after she and Dennis Trillo announced on October 29 that they’re engaged and expecting a baby.
The actress went on to thank her home network for taking care of her since she started her career in showbiz and even until now. “I love my GMA family. From the moment I started as an actress, na-feel ko na hindi lang ako artista sa network, kundi parte ng pamilya nila. Madami akong pinagdaanan at kung wala ang GMA, hindi ko alam kung malalagpasan ko ito. I am blessed to be a Kapuso,” she said.
(From the moment I started as an actress, I felt like part of the family, and not just an artist in the network. I’ve gone through a lot, and if it weren’t for GMA, I don’t know if I would have surpassed these challenges.)
Jennylyn entered showbiz after winning in the GMA talent search reality series Starstruck in 2003.
She then starred in several television series, including Encantadia, Super Twins, Rhodora X, and My Faithful Husband, and in films like English Only, Please, Walang Forever, and Just The 3 of Us. – Rappler.com
