Two months after announcing her engagement, stylist Liz Uy announced that she is expecting baby number 2.
In an article for the Philippine Star published Sunday, December 20, Liz shared that she found out about the pregnancy during the 4th month of the lockdown in the Philippines.
“I ran to Raymond [Racaza, her partner] and we were both screaming in delight. In the midst of a pandemic, we found this piece of good news filling up what was otherwise a glass half full of uncertainty in 2020,” she wrote.
Liz said she experienced Hyperemesis Gravidarum. According to webmd.com, Hyperemesis Gravidarum is characterized by severe vomiting and “can lead to problems like dehydration and weight loss.”
On top of her condition, Liz said she was worried about COVID-19 and started reading up about it in relation to her pregnancy.
She also said that the pregnancy has taught her “to embrace and share my life’s simple joys as well as struggles.”
Liz and Raymond have been together for a few years. In 2018, they introduced their son Xavi to the public. Raymond, a tech entrepreneur, was previously married to Dr. Geraldine Zamora, among the country’s leading rheumatologists.
Liz is one of the country’s top fashion stylists. Her clients include Maine Mendoza, Anne Curtis, Isabelle Daza, and Sarah Geronimo. – Rappler.com
