Mark Ruffalo and Jennifer Garner posted an adorable selfie together on their social media accounts with captions that referenced the rom-com classic 13 Going On 30.
“Reconnecting with an old pal. Anyone know where we can get Razzles in Canada?” Ruffalo tweeted Wednesday, February 24.
Garner shared the same selfie as well. “Wishing dust worked! And I got a perfect day with my old pal,” she wrote on Instagram.
Garner and Ruffalo played Jenna Rink and Matt Flamhaff, best friends-turned-lovers, in the 2004 film. Talks of a possible sequel surfaced in 2019, which Garner put to rest in a later interview with Good Morning America.
This wouldn’t be the first time for the two stars to celebrate the movie and its impact.
Ruffalo celebrated the film’s 16th anniversary in a tweet. During its 15th anniversary a year prior, Garner also commemorated the impact of 13 Going On 30 on young actresses at the time.
The two are set to grace the big screen together in The Adam Project alongside Ryan Reynolds. Coincidentally, the film is about a man traveling back in time to his 13-year-old self. – with reports from Andrea Tibayan/Rappler.com
