Miriam Quiambao is pregnant again at 45

Former beauty queen Miriam Quiambao and her husband Ardy Roberto are expecting their second child.

The couple announced the news in a vlog published on their channel on December 30, sharing a photo of the ultrasound and saying that she was around 8 weeks pregnant.

They have yet to learn what the baby’s sex is, but said that they will find out soon.

The couple said that they weren’t really expecting that Miriam would get pregnant again, but that they had already began praying and planning for another child.

Miriam was surprised to miss a period in November, though she didn’t experience the other pregnancy symptoms that she had with her first child. Instead, she shared that she felt more lethargic and that she wanted to sleep all the time.

She eventually took a pregnancy test, and learned that she was carrying.

“It was really a surprise, a very pleasant surprise. We just want to encourage everybody who’s down and out, or just low on hope this 2020 not to give up on hope and whatever your dreams, whatever you’re praying for, there’s nothing really impossible with God,” Ardy said.

“Another miracle ito diba. Imagine, 45 years old na ako. 1 to 2 percent chance of getting pregnant, tapos ito wala pang mga work-ups, spontaneous pregnancy siya,” Miriam said.

Miriam and Ardy welcomed their first child, Elijah, in February 2019.
