Phoemela Baranda pregnant with second child

Model and TV host Phoemela Baranda is expecting.

On Wednesday, November 18, Phoemela shared a photo taken by Doc Marlon Pecjo for Preview showing her growing baby bump.

“Life begins,” Phoemela captioned the photo.

In an interview with Preview, Phoemela, 40, said that she and her partner, businessman and professional race car driver Jason Choachuy, planned the pregnancy.

“I’ve always wanted another child, and my partner [wanted one] as well –it’s his first,” Phoemela said.

She revealed that she is scheduled to give birth sometime in March 2021 and will keep everyone posted about the gender of the baby.

Phoemela said that she had some anxieties since it’s been years since her first child, but she’s also excited. The model and TV personality has a daughter, Kim Nichole Baranda, who she had at 19 years old.

“This time the only difference is that I’m more mentally prepared,” Phoemela said of the pregnancy. “But [I feel the] same amount of excitement and love, especially that my partner and Kim are beside me for support.

In the same interview, Kim, 21, said that she is also looking forward to the new addition to the family.

“I know I’ll still forever be her baby,” Kim said.

Aside from her work as a TV host and model, Phoemela is also an entrepreneur. She is a co-founder and director for a social media marketing and PR agency, and is part owner of Beyond Yoga and The Makeover Lounge. – Rappler.com
