Host and Boys Night Out DJ Sam YG or Sam Gogna is engaged to his girlfriend, pageant marketing executive Essa Santos. The couple shared photos of the proposal on Tuesday, January 26.
“Essa ‘YES’ Let me love you for the rest of my life?” Sam wrote in the caption for the photo.
In another post, Sam thanked the team that made the proposal memorable.
Essa wrote that she “ugly-cried the whole time.”
“Have to say I did not expect this proposal at all – I kinda wish I did para mas prepared ako (so I’m prepared), but it makes for a great story anyway!”
“It was always gonna be an ‘of course’, my love.. thank you for this wonderful-amazing experience. I am truly the luckiest girl! I love you in all ways, always.”
The couple celebrated their second anniversary last April. In a birthday greeting for Essa in May 2020, Sam said that before they became a couple, she turned him down several times before agreeing to meet him.
